A cafe with a great atmosphere in North Sydney!
There are plenty of seats inside, and the outdoor seating is pretty too (harbor view).
The staff are friendly and the coffee is delicious (though I'm not a coffee expert).
The bagels were decent, but the chicken something-or-other was even better.
There are large windows on two sides, so it feels very open β¨
It's great for coming alone to get some work done (no feeling self-conscious),
and also perfect for enjoying brunch with a friend! I recommend it ππ»

We very much enjoyed a leisurely visit to North spoon cafe today. The space is light and bright with both indoor and outdoor seating. The coffee and other drinks were excellent as well as the food. Thanks for a great experience.

Busy popular on Saturday morning for good reason they have great food. We had the pastra.i bagel and salmon bagel. Both superb lightly toasted tasty and welll filled. Friendly staff. Food was quick turnaround.even though they were busy

I’ve been coming to The North Spoon ever since I moved to McMahons Point, and it has truly become one of those rare local gems you keep going back to.
The food is consistently outstanding, but it’s their ever-changing specials that I love most, thoughtful, creative, and full of flavour. The “Green Eggs and Not Ham” is a perfect example: vibrant, beautifully balanced, and quietly indulgent. The beef tongue was perfectly cooked and paired so well with the chimichurri sauce and perfectly toasted brioche , every element on the plate felt considered and satisfying.
Beyond the food, the service is just as memorable. Alessandro has a wonderful way of making every guest feel genuinely looked after, striking that perfect balance between warmth and professionalism.
A place that delivers both heart and refinement , always a pleasure to return.

I love going to the north spoon but to realise that my order wasn’t put in and I was waiting (as a one top) 40 minutes for a bagel wasn’t okay. I do appreciate the guy for not charging for my coffee and offering me a cookie however I get pretty sick after coffee without food so I knew I couldn’t stomach it. Not the most ideal way to spend my Saturday morning.
