The North Spoon Catering Terms

These Terms and Conditions are between the Client (you, your and the client) and The Spoon Eateries Pty Ltd ABN 74 634 620 081 (North Spoon, we, us and our) and apply to the use of The North Spoon cafe (Venue) by the client specified in the contract booking form. These Terms and Conditions form part of the contract booking form and by signing the contract booking form you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Payment terms:

Full payment is required at time of order unless otherwise stated and agreed by The Spoon Eateries. Please note that North Spoon does not accept personal cheques as payment for catering. All prices are given as a guide only and may vary specific catering requirements.

 

REFUND POLICY

This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds on orders placed through thenorthspoon.com.au

General Refund Policy:

  • No Refunds for No-Shows: No refunds will be issued for orders where the customer fails to pick up or the caterer fails to deliver the order as scheduled.
  • Refunds for Cancelled Orders: 
    • Customer Cancellations: 
      • 3 days or more before the event: Full refund.
      • 1-2 days before the event: 50% refund.
      • Less than 1 days before the event: No refund.
      • Exceptions: Refunds may be considered for extenuating circumstances (e.g., severe illness, death in the family) with appropriate documentation.
    • Caterer Cancellations: 
      • If the caterer cancels the order, a full refund will be issued to the customer. The caterer may offer alternative dates or arrangements.

Refund for Damaged or Incorrect Orders:

  • If the order arrives damaged or incorrect, the customer must notify thenorthspoon.com.au or the caterer immediately.
  • thenorthspoon.com.au will work with the caterer to resolve the issue, which may include: 
    • Replacement of the damaged/incorrect items.
    • Partial or full refund for the affected items.
  • Documentation: Customers may be required to provide photos or other documentation of the damaged or incorrect order.

Refund Process:

  • Refunds will be processed within 5 business days of the approved refund request.
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the order.

Exceptions:

  • thenorthspoon.com.au reserves the right to make exceptions to this Refund Policy in certain circumstances.
  • All refund decisions are made at the sole discretion of thenorthspoon.com.au
